| The Brown Cow is an inviting looking pub on a corner right in the centre of town. As you enter it feels very new , though on closer inspection the tables and chairs are quite worn. For some reason I assumed this pub was busy when I was looking in from the outside but there's only 2 punters and a dog in! 3 ales on cask which were Sharps Doombar, Jennings Cumberland and my choice which was Lancaster Blonde. The Blonde was more than drinkable. Not in the GBG but worthy of a stop nonetheless. lezford - 7 Aug 2015 13:58 |
