user reviews of Bulls Head, Meriden

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Rather than 'risk it' at any number of eating houses, with one recent extremely bad dining experience on my mind, I decided to stick with an establishment that has continually 'made the grade' when we have visited previously. The Bull's Head in Meriden once again proved to be a winner. As it was our fortieth wedding anniversary I really didn't want any 'mishaps' and there certainly weren't any.

The food and drink selection provides variety and the quantities served are of sufficient size without being unnecessarily large. The service is 'spot on'; never having to wait to order drinks (especially important when one of their beers on tap was a particular favourite), supported by the food arriving at appropriate intervals.

Quality of both food and beer was excellent!

It gave us what we wanted, somewhere that could be relied upon. The Bull's Head in Meriden has a high standard in all areas. That standard, if maintained, will see this establishment continue to blossom. As long as it does, we'll come back.

I love the bulls head, its beautiful inside, the beer is good, the staff friendly, and the food is excellent. One of my favorites in the Solihull area.

Not bad. My wife and I went during winter; I reckon that sitting in the courtyard would be rather pleasant in the summer. Limited beer selection (as far as my favourites are concerned). Food was fine and not too expensive. Overall was OK. Would go again.

Interesting looking building with a nice courtyard and - like most places in this area - the beer comes at a reasonable cost (last time I was here I had a rather nice pint of Landlord). However, the interior is a bit disjointed and out of keeping with the exterior and they do appear to want to appeal more to diners rather than drinkers. Sunday lunch is available pretty much all afternoon but, in general, the food can be good, but more often is average. 7/10

Great Pub. Very good food, and great value, considering the quality of the place. The beer is cheap also (eg. Carling 2.50/pt) Highly recommended
