The Corner Bar seems a bit darker than I remember. It's a handy place to head to if you've got spare time whilst changing trains at Crewe. With just enough time for a very swift half, we arrived to find a selection of Timothy Taylor Landlord, Theakston Atlantic Red, Otter Bitter & Fuller's Boardwalk. Service was quick.

It's okay - probably about as good as Crewe gets and handy for station and football ground.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. There were three Salopian beers on when I called on a Friday night and the one I sampled was in good form -although you may want to ask them to remove the sparkler - If I pay £3.15 for a pint I expect just that - a pint!
Not the sort of pub I'd want to spend the evening in but handy for Crewe station and probably now the best bet since the British Lion closed.

No ale when I went in on Saturday 29th October (on way back from Nantwich Beer Festival) - settled for half a John Smiths keg which was not so bad...it was late and I was not sober!

I'd agre with most of the previous comments. Doesn't look promising from the outside but is well worth visiting. 4 Salopian beers on on Friday night. Interesting selection of music from about 3.10. Fairly quiet until about 10 pm when it started to get busy.
