I thought this was a great pub. I see that there are a few bad experiences with food but our food was great.
We were not intending on eating but were told at the bar that they had started a new menu and asked if we would like to have a look. We were a little dubious at first but were pleasantly surprised at both the quality and quantity. The wine menu was good and prices really good for the area.

Rubbish. We ordered a platter for 12.99 and it was ridiculously small. A quarter of a sausage, some old lettuce leaves, burnt white sliced bread (rustic apparently), and not much else.

It's like a horrid All Bar One but not as good.

had lunch in here , not good at all , I have been in here a few times but this was a particularly bad visit , slow service, short poured pints and generally not good at all. this place should be the best in town , the site is amazing but it allways seems to struggle to to get out of the lower divisions.

After the madness that central London often throws up this bar is a great place to unwind and catch your breath. A well priced wine list, lovely fresh menu and friendly attentive staff all make it a place well worth a visit. You'll definitely be back!

Tell your friends...really friendly helpful staff who actually give table service...even just for drinks!Mellow vibe, good tunes and comfy ambience. Pretty busy on Friday night (we thought the doorman was great, opened the door for us as we arrived and left and wished us well) but an awesome place to chill away the weekend. Brisk and decent lunch service during the week too.
