| The pub has a fairly basic 2-room interior. Everybody seemed to know one another. But, they were friendly. Wye Valley Butty Bach is the regular ale. Guests were Hook Norton Hooky & Ludlow Best. They also had a real cider, which I was not expecting. This was the locally produced Schralf's Run Wild, apparently named after the producer's dog. | An unspoilt country pub in the southern foothills of the Malverns. Always nice to have a well earned pint after a ramble. A couple of rickety tables outside and a low ceiling interior. Seemed to be a lot of people eating but this is as much a drinkers pub - with 3-4 real ales on. I went for familiar ground with a Wye Valley Butty Bach for £3.20. Superb condition. | Five real ales (two Greene King plus three locals when we called) plus real cider and nice to see Westons Perry on draught. Community pub – a lot of drinking goes on here - welcoming and friendly staff. Regular events including live music. Basic bar with log fire plus slightly less basic restaurant. Open all day.
