We visited this pub on as bank holiday Sunday and live music was playing.
The place was busy but the locals all seemed fine to me.
Pint of carling was nice

I have to reply to the above review, as I am a regular at the Endeavour, and have never read such rubbish. The first thing I would like to mention is the menacing locals.Menacing.There may be people at the bar having a laugh, chatting an so on, but maybe when I go in on my next regular visit, I should have my walking stick at the ready.I know a lot of these people, and they are warm and friendly, as are Tina and Jo the owners..The atmosphere is warm and pleasant.I can only say as I find. I am female, and coming up to 72years young, and have enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, Sunday afternoons of music and laughter in this pub. The food is very very good, and really reasonably priced. As in all pubs, there are always one or two, who can be very loud, but are really just having a laugh with friends. You find this anywhere. I would say to anyone planning a visit to Teignmouth, dont be put off by above review, try for yourself, try the great food, and enjoy.

Having just spent a weekend in Teignmouth Of the eight pubs visited in the town I have to vote this pub the worst.
The only real ale was Sharp's Doombar which was on the turn.
The bar staff were not very friendly and the locals at the bar could only be described as menacing.
The meal deal (2 steaks for 10) looked good value but I for one wouldn't eat there.
