| This is no longer the Bridge House. --------now renamed City Lodge, Completely refurbished, has good and varied menu, Carvery is excellent. Prices is a �8 for carvery.( this goes down to �6weekdays) Food well presented, and uniquely in there is a window into the kitchen so you can see the preparation I always check toilets for cleanliness.theirs are immaculate. Beers a'plenty, speedy service in spite of being busy. One small point for improvement is the plates and food could have been hotter.
