| "Nothing being to much trouble" is the motto of this pub, and it does what it says. A choice of two real ales from an everchanging range. Superb, very reasonably priced food using fresh local ingredients Fri night, Sat lunch & dinner, Sun lunch. Winner of Camra's Scottish Pub of the Year 2007 and runner up in the UK wide competition. Landlord arranges an annual beer festival in Stranraer town centre (not the pub)which is next on 13-15 June 08. Bird watcher's paradise (and Red Squirrel's too).
