As said before..good pub, good food, friendly....but still no cask ales.

Very much an estate pub, but friendly and busy, wide clientele mix. Good food, great outdoor areas. The only thing that lets it down...NO REAL ALE, despite there being three handpumps on the bar, they have not been used for more than three years. This is one reason many 'loyal' locals are now choosing to go the "Olde Manor" where the well kept real ale is less expensive than the sad john smiths smoothflow in the woodside.

Went in for a meal mid week. Must say the food is mainly standard pub food, but nice to see some homemade sausages on the menu rather than tescos own! However did not go for sausages this time as the deals of get ANYTHING free when I spent over 6 on a food item was too tempting. I went in with my wife and got 2 surf & turfs, a combo platter and a bottle of Pino G for 21.50 !
Not the ritz but good food, good atmosphere and alot cheaper than the ritz too !!

Arguably the worst pub in Crewe. Sunday's are like a student's union gathering (but with the kids running everywhere). Vert short expensive dashes of coke etc!
