I must echo the previous comments, this establishment has top quality Yorkshire Real ales, I can honestly say, I have never had a bad pint, even when it's rammed.

Great place for a top pint and delicious food. Vast selection of bottled beers from all over Europe. Theakstons & Deuchars as regulars on draught plus constantly changing guest beers. Also regular entertainment including jazz and also comedy nights.Would highly recommend.

Very modern bar (it's not really a pub) with several real ales on tap. It's great in midweek but we called in on Saturday at 8 and it was already packed. Very minimalist design but a very good pint. Try it on a Wednesday and you might even get a seat. Service was good though even on Saturday.

Three resident real ales and one regularly changing guest. Draught Schneiderweiss and Westmalle Dubbel + two Belgian fruit beers. Usual fizzy so-called "premium" lagers available as well. Ideal place to have lunch in the summer with the garden at the back.Food is good with regular specials.

Not much fun on weekend evenings when like everywhere else on Princes Ave it get packed out.

Very popular with both football and RL fans.

No pool, bandits, TV or baseball caps.

A fine establishment all in all

A pleasant enough place this Sunday afternoon when I visited - live jazz is always welcome where I'm concerned. Five ales and a cloudy cider available and we agreed the beer was well kept. My friend who lives in Hull did mention that it was a place to avoid on Friday / Saturday night if you dislike crowded and noisy pubs. The patio at the front would work well on a sunny day.
