I was compelled to visit this bar at the weekend having heard outlandish rumours about a handsome and portly gentleman that turns up occasionally and performs such hair-rising dance moves that men and women alike start frothing at the minge.

I was not disappointed.

The shaggy-faced wonderboy has a pair of ankles that are so fluid, rythymic and manly, approximately seven women fell pregnant on Saturday night alone just from watching him dance. He throws shapes for which there arent even names. Apparently even the whiskers of his beard keep perfect time to the music. I asked him if I could mop his brow for him, and when I did I swear his sweat itself smelled like disco. He winked and said You look like a man in need of a pelvic thrust and BLAM, he fired his hips at me with such grace, such machismo, that a passing dog collapsed and died. No big deal he chuckled, and did a lightning fast leg-wobble over the corpse. THE DOG GOT BACK UP AND STARTED LICKING HIS FACE! And it fell pregnant too.

Still the best bar in Weymouth if you value customer service, a warm welcome, quite the widest range of wines, spirits, bottles, cocktails and so on. Limited range of beer, less so for lager and Stowford Press Cider too. Wonderful freshly cooked food too with an emphasis on personal service. Tea or coffee - that too. What more could you ask. This place is in a class of its own

what a great place we found this bar in september 09 mainly because they sell peroni on draught but besides that its a brilliant place to go for a start of a night or to stay

I enjoy a few cheeky drinks in this top little place, in between being a famous worshipped local hero and a trampy downtrodden local zero. My favourite is a drink is either a really famous great one like a martini or a hemingway daiquiri or alternatively my favourite drink can be something really awful like a VK or a special brew or something equivalently trampy, thankfully this place only sells the great ones. Anyway this place rocks, most awesome bar in Weymouth.

I work In this bar and was quite upset to see the bearded trog comment . I am quite a big player on the Local homosexual scene and am therfore quite sensitive about my appearence . Mind you having said that . there are seveeral others who work there who could be the bearded trog in question ...Lisa the land lady for example . Any,way I digress , it is a lovely Pub with a warm friendly atmosphere . The regulars are a nice mixed bunch ranging from village idiots to local villains and the food is very nice . One of the things that does spoil it is my complete lack of personal hygene , hippy attitude and refusal to wear anything but ball gowns to work ...but having said that my face is also be known to cause instantanious vomiting and blindness...however in between my trips cottaging and exposing myself in parks this is a fine pub to drink
