| Firstly, a pub for me is about the beer. In this respect a very nice pint of Whitstable Bay bitter was enough to keep me at the Zetland for a couple of jars and some food. Lunch was good value for money and a fine example of pub grub. A mention to for the bar staff who, although busy, were friendly and efficient. All in all a great find and worth the walk or drive. | Recently acquired and updated by Shepherd Neame. Sadly the food is not as good as was and I dislike sitting under the menu board when I am eating. Very popular and right on the beach. Difficult to get there if you have a low slung car! suzikent - 15 Jun 2014 23:48 |
| Idyllic location, this popular pub has been acquired by Shepherd Neame. It has been much improved (the decor is popular for many, although I'm not a fan) and delivers very good beer and reasonably priced food.
