| so-so pub. Not too shabby and a decent pint, but locals glare at you on the way in. Y'know the type, shaven headed, bare chested with ENGLAND flags draped over their tattooed torsos. Ran a Comedy Club which was really poor, the 'comics' were second-rate wannabees that steal material from Peter Kay/Chubby Brown DVDs, and you HAVE to laugh otherwise they'll slaughter you infront of the 'Jeremy Kyle Audience' type customers. | As a visitor to Nuneaton, I was happy to find that this place did indeed have a decent atmosphere. Busy but not crowded, with the whole age represented. Darts and pool table. Two real ales - Bass (good) and Hobgoblin. Would happily have stayed for another, but was worried that the chippy across the road would close before I got there. rpadam - 28 Nov 2009 22:48 |

| Lovely atmosphere. Cath and Mark that run the place are really friendly. Brenda and Paul run a fab karaoke night every other Saturday. Brian and Mags provide excellent 'value for money' food. The Sunday carvery is highly recommended. Kayelizabeth - 24 Oct 2007 16:10 |
