First visit here over new year.
3 beers tried, Hobsons - Twisted Spire (v good), Ludlow - Gold (good) & Shires - Seven Gorgeous (good).
Food, fantastic & huge portions, good menu.
Very friendly mix between a pub & a gastropub. Light & airy conservatory to eat in + seating in the main pub. Great garden for warmer days.
Close to the Tar Museum & the Great Hay Incline, good parking & just off the Silkin Way cycle way.
Accomodation looks good value as well.

4 ales on, Ludlow Gold (very nice), Hobsons Twisted Spire (very nice), Tiger and (I think) Severn Gorgeous. All price about 2.60-2.70

Nice food, big portions. Good service.

Nice Sauvignon Blanc wine

I thought the food was good value, prompt and well-cooked. That, with a decent pint of Everards, made a great evening. Well worth stumbling down the suicidally steep hill from the Golf Club to find.

Nice setting & real ales, appalling food and service. Had veggie enchiladas, took 45 minutes, peppers & onions in enormous chunks, barely cooked, sauce out of a jar...rubbish.

A superb family run pub which serves good guest ales in a warm and friendly environment. Food is of a high standard whilst being very light on the wallet!! As a result, always book ahead as it is a very popular place.

** And if you see two identical barmen, it isn't because you've drunk too much - they are identical twins!!! Worth many a visit.
