| Oh boy, where to start? Went in on a Friday evening in February 2005. From the outside it looks ominous; a 60s estate pub included within a complex of shops in the middle of a development of Tower Blocks. A working class pub, basically, but one of a 'rougher' kind. Beer is not too good, or at least wasn't well kept when I went. There was a Burberry check clad DJ spinning Drum and Bass, and then bizarrley , David Essex. This was in the large, semi-circular lounge. There was a bar in the back with a rioutuos disco taking place. We avoided it. Mark - 9 Dec 2006 12:37 |
