| Reopened - after 5* refurbishment. Fixtures and fittings are very high standard. Ample staff, and although I didn't eat, the food looked top quality - as was my lager. There are now 4/5 food oriented pubs on the A25 - between Reigate and Dorking - all raising the stakes. | This weekends pub visits have proved that the quality of beer and service in our pubs is not good enough. I waited to be served, whilst the staff chatted and found other things to do, then was given a real shocker of a pint, waited to see if it was condensation, or it really was that cloudy. It was rank - took it back and was then served another beer which was almost as bad.
