| The place was empty apart from two louts blocking up the bar, they saw us but would not move over so that we could see the pumps - shame. We moved round to the side from where we could not see what was on offer. The landlord walked out from the back of the bar - the most miserable and surly I have ever seen. We nearly walked out at that point but then a very pleasant lady came through to serve us. A pint and a half of Godiva, we moved away from the bar - it was off, sour and rancid. The barlady apologised profusely and offered two bottles of the same in replacement - they were quite pleasant for bottled beers. This review would be 0 if it were not for the Lady (NOT Landlady!). | Bit of a dive in here In last Saturday and only a gobby trio of 2 guys and a girl playing pool. There are two bars with a number of hand pulls in both but just two ales on. | The only Pub that I have ever walked into for the first time and refused to drink anything. This was based on the lack of personal hygiene of the young lady behind the bar back in November 2010, and I have not dared to revisit the place since, as I am concerned that if I touch anything, bodily parts will drop off! bitterboy1970 - 11 Jun 2012 15:21 |
