| A dire waste of a great building and great location. Supposedly a freehouse, two ales were off on a busy summer Saturday and only the egregious Doom Bar on. The furnishings are as awful as those in the nearby Pilot Boat Inn and if the terrace is a nice spot, slow service and mediocre food complete the picture. BoehmBawerk - 10 Aug 2015 17:43 |
| Don't be put off by the scruffy appearance outside. The inside is nicely decorated and clean, mainly set for diners. They also have a nice terrace overlooking the sea. The food was good, mostly fish, but a selection of other dishes. The Doombar was in good condition and Shandychica said the shandy was fine. The staff were welcoming as well. | I agree with the previous coment, as we went in for coffee whilst waiting for the bus with a view to returning for a pint on completion of our walk back from Seaton. The guy serving was clearly put out by serving us and unfriendly. We didnt return and instead had a nice drink at the Harbour Inn. ian241 - 19 Apr 2013 19:04 |
