I had lunch here today with a friend, and wasn't very impressed. The building's very nice, but the staff were surly and not particularly efficient - my friend was over charged and barely got an apology. The Deuchars IPA was gassy and not particularly chilled, and as a vegetarian who loathes goats cheese the only option apart from very expensive main courses was salad and chips. This place definitely has potential, but they need to work on their attitude, sort out the beer and improve their menu before I'll go back

Went in for a quick one on Sunday night. Nice atmosphere, and a surprisingly pleasant outside area considering it's bang on a busy road through Acton. They served a decent pint of Deuchars IPA.

I'd like it more if they had more than one real ale on and if the rating box allowed I'd knock off half a point for the eye-watering price of the Deuchars they did have, but it won't stop me going back.

Normally when you think "station pub" you think of beggar-infested kips like the Hamilton Hall in Liverpol St or that grotty shithole at the end of Waterloo station. This place is the complete opposite. Walk up here from Acton park, over the level-crossing and you could almost imagine you're not in London. Ish. Not eaten here beyond a bowl of chips but the food looks nice. Beer is good and service friendly, if slightly harried on a Friday night (understandably it gets busy, it's popular).

Food was very good in the restaurant, and the pub is open and reasonably relaxed. I'd still say this is the best pub in the area for quality of food/drinks and service.

Had my 35th party in the upstairs dining room - absolutely brilliant time had by all! We had a whole range of canapes and bellini's and marguerita's! Food and drinks were of the highest order and great value. Every detail was planned by the owner/proprietor (who is a charming and very friendly woman) whose knowledge and suggestions were so very helpful. Prior to the party we were treated to a wine & canape tasting which allowed us to pick what we wanted and enjoyed. Highly recommended as a pub, restaurant and party venue.
