Agree with post below - food was ok and they did have two ales on Adnams Bitter and Bombadier (kind of tokenism really I cannot believe that the Slug chain has any real desire to further its ale offerings). The Adnams was in good form and I can't complain. There was also a massive selection of spirits which looked impressive. Brake Brothers made a delivery while we were there... and ground black pepper was unavailable. Staff were polite and attentive and no doubt underpaid.

Great place for midday lunch and menu is extensive and good value and portions very good. Staff very polite, efficient and attentive. Can get very busy lunchtimes so large groups would be safer making booking. I believe in the evenings it becomes a "town centre style pub so probabaly noisy and busy.

good pub if you out on a friday/sataday night but you need some pennys to spend, thay have a garden witch is nice but it is so small max of 20 people could get out there, day time the pub is dead not a lot of people at all and the food isnt that good, overall it is a good pub but only on a night out, if i had the chance i would go to trents acoss the road

I know it doesn't exactly fit Beer in the Evening but they also do delicious breakfasts here, give it a try!!...

We three 'old biddies' went to the pub to use the Telegraph offer and we haven't enjoyed a meal so much for ages. The staff were exceptional and the menu very varied. We will definately be going there again when we visit Chichester.
Thanks again.
