| Staying here for a couple of nights this weekend, we had to try the bar. I found the atmosphere more akin to a social club than a pub and the only handpull was turned round. The fridges were also practically empty. I plumped for a bottle of the local Rocquette Cider. | Since the recent refurbishment the new meals are outstanding and the staff extremely pleasant and the decor a distinct improvement. (Unfortunately having a pregnant wife I wasn't allowed to drink as I was driving) dllegal - 5 Aug 2006 17:07 |
| Once a quaint little fisherman's bar, expansion and "upgrades" have removed much of its character. Still serves a nice pint and does a decent bar meal. Handy for the beach, a two minute walk away. mikeandjack - 24 Apr 2006 18:12 |
