| Fine old coaching inn on the way out and up (a lot of up) from Littleborough with a somewhat chequered past. In the 70's/80's it was a disco bar and was where I had my first ever pint of Oranjeboom (I've got older and wiser since then). These days it has a large restaurant area with a separate and much smaller pub part at the front. It's a very comfortable pub with 3 handpumps usually selling Timothy Taylors Landlord and a couple of guest ales, one of which is often from Pictish. Has a massive wooden terrace at the back with a fantastic view over the local moorland. It's great during summer (which only lasts about 10 days up here). | Set in a picturesque setting overlooking the moors, large terracing for outside drinking in good weather and childrens play area.
