| On passing over the Bank Holiday weekend we stopped for refreshment to be met by smiling faces of the Landlord & Landlady, what a quaint pub, excellent Ales, very friendly, reminded me of pubs I used to visit with my dad when I was younger. Fantastic beer garden with childrens playground, even witnessed my first game of Aunt Sally being played for fun by some visitors. Activities board in the bar gave details of events happening that month.... Quiz nights, Bingo, Fish & Chips every Friday, Steak Nights, Karaoke & a Meat Draw every Saturday. We are often in the area & we will definately be returning. This in my eyes is a real English Pub & how pubs should be. Well done the owners, your doing something right.
