Much improved since the Pipers days.
Real ales, food, strangely trendyish.....but not.
Drinks prices seem good for Swindon.

Went in just after the new menu: had an excellent meal at a "non-trivial, but worth it" cost, and then saw the Happy Hour start, with attendant peeps... Think this place is working up to an identity crisis :-(

Been here a couple of times now. I'm not normally a fan of this type of modern "white sofa and Sky Sports"place, embarrassingly, I quite like here.

They've a couple of drinkable real beers amongst the fizz, some reasonable wines, and the food is limited in choice, but very good, usually... They occasionally have some aberrations on the food front, one strangely mushy jacket potato springs to mind, but there have also been far more excellent meals. Also important is that it has always been possible to avoid the sport, if we've wanted to.

Not a replacement for my usual haunts, but when I want to pretend I'm "cool" I'll go here and still enjoy myself; and the Lady Chairwoman likes it, so we will be visiting fairly regularly.

Visited lunchtime today, not my cup of tea, all the atmosphere of a motorway service station. Plain cafe bar style, 4 handpumps, only one beer on 'pig on the hill' allegedly brewed by Hancocks. Fine selection of fizz fonts on the bar, very disappointing especially considering how much fuss the local Swindon CAMRA veg made of its reopening.

GONE!! Opened up as "The Pig on the hill"
Appears to be a trendy bar type place. Not been in yet so maybe I should reserve judgement.
