| Very disappointed in that twice in a matter of weeks my lunch has taken 45 minutes to prepare. I appreciate that they cook from scratch, but when i turned up at 12.05 to a completely empty pub I would have expected the hardly onerous task of preparing chilli con carne to take less than 45 minutes. Also the bar tables are very sticky, so much so that you have to be careful when lifting your cutlery / arm / phone from the table so that you don't launch it across the bar. Such a shame as the beer is of decent quality and the location perfect for a lunchtime pint if working in the Gatwick area. Chappers1 - 10 Aug 2011 13:36 |

| I had my wedding breakfast here in september 2008, had a lovely day, food was fantastic, and the staff and steve may everything go without a hitch. they eve closed off the restaurant side of the pub for the day till 5pm for us so we could have an almost private function which was lovely and they did not mind the kids running around when having 2 small children this does help, have had many other dinners there and would recomend anytime thanks to steve and his staff for making mine and my husbands wedding day special thanks clare clare_mackenzie - 28 Dec 2009 15:27 |
