| A small local tucked away in this Cumbrian village, it's the only pub left there after the closure of The George Inn. It's not on the main A69 so most folk will miss it driving through...is it worth a small detour for? Probably not, but if you are in the area and not in a hurry it's worth popping in. Real ales on tap, dominoes and cards, dartboard and TV; if the bar lacks a certain character in the decor there should be at least a character or two propping up the bar. sibisi73 - 7 Feb 2010 14:05 |
