Good selection of beers, but as said by previous posters, very pricey with it.

The food was stylishly minimalist, quite a limited menu choice and even more overpriced than the beer.

The atmosphere was nice, but kind of false, its like they are trying so hard for the 'traditional' pub look that its gone too far.

Too expensive for the highlands. London prices!!

Decent pub, decent beer - just right for a post-Cairngorm refresher. Had a pint of Cairngorm Trade Winds - one of my favourites and it went down a treat! Worth seeking out.

Good little pub just outside of the not-too-pretty resort of Aviemore. The beers were in very good nick - there was Cairngorm Witches Cauldron, Deuchars IPA and a waaaaaay too-sweet cider, but it's good to see a real cider on in any bar in Scotland. The food was good and very welcome after a hard day's drive across the passes to get to Aviemore and the nearby Rothiemurchus campsite. Would definitely recommend this pub if in the area. Just get there early to guarantee getting a place to sit.

Had two handpump ales on the go (Cairngorm - Red Ale and Deuchars IPA) and 1 handpump dispensing cider - other ales available in bottles at a hefty 3.60 if I remember correctly! Food looked good, but as noted before perhaps a little rich for some palletes...
