user reviews of the Coach and Horses, Donnington

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

As already noted there is no Coach & Horses in Donnington, Berks. The pub serving Thai food was the Three Horseshoes (change of landlord means the Thai food is no longer available).
However, it is not true that there has never been a Coach & Horses nearby - there were two in Newbury (long time ago) and one in Beedon, now just called The Coach.

Isn't this the same pub as the one listed as the Fox & Hounds? I've never heard of a Coach & Horses in Donnington.

The Coach & Horses at Donnington, Newbury is most definately open and specialises in Thai food. I will be visiting soon for a meal and will report.

There is no 'Coach and Horses' in Donnington...or anywhere else for miles around...never has been.

So the comments about 'large menu let down by food' and 'empty seating area' at 800(?) may indicate that 'rogang' was in fact standing in the local Tescos.

Remember kids....'just say no'

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Large menu but let down by quality of food. Chef needs more training! Explains empty eating area at 800 on a Wednesday night!
