Decent pub in a lovely village.

Friendly staff, well-priced and tasty food with decent portions and a big garden out back with a play area for the kids.

As for the ales, three from memory, all of similar strength. The Batemans' Skull & Hammers and Woodforde Wherry were very drinkable.

Better of the two pubs in the village, in my opinion. Would definitely return.

A very nice pub, four beers on hanpump,a very dodgy pool table that looks like it was rescued from a skip. The pub has two bars the public having darts as well as the aforementioned completely knackered pool table. The service is friendly enough, i've been in enough Norfolk pubs to doubt that this is truly the pick of the bunch.Another CAMRA Branch making rather odd decisions.Worth a 7/10.

We visited last Sunday lunchtime and we were well impressed to say the least. There were loads of us in our group with a fair few small kids and they dealt calmly and expertly with all our seperate orders and managed to get them to turn up at around about the same time to. Bar service was also jovial and prompt and really enjoyed a couple of pints of Woodforde's Wherry. As the afternoon progressed more folk appeared in addition to a bit of inobtrusive live music and the place really started to take shape as the thriving community hub it obviously is. What a local!

A pretty good pub. Had an extended pool/dukebox session in here at the weekend. Played ok, won more than I lost although my follow through was a worry and caused me to overhit anything played with screw. Whats that? The pub? Oh right, yeah that was fine. Decent beer, no food mind, which caused severe problems later on!!
