Good place for a chat or a small group meet.
Pricey drinks.
Better service and atmosphere than Bar Cena but not as good as Quench

find it quite faceless, not a very warm welcome to be had. appears quite cliquey but maybe that is just me. prices too high for what you get.

Yes it's a pub in the evenings, but that's not why I go there once a month or so. My wife and I go to have their full english breakfasts, which are just about the best full english we've found in the area! They use food from local butchers and farms, and you can definitely tell! It's always perfectly cooked, the scrambled eggs are fantastic, as are the mushrooms!

As for the rest of their menu for lunch, well, you're spoilt for choice and the prices are pretty reasonable. I can't remember what they've got, but I always say (over breakfast) that we should come back for lunch one day, as it looks so good!

I've been a couple of times in the evenings, and it's usually not too busy, but with a good atmosphere. It's not the cheapest for drinks though. If you want something to eat with your pint, then grab a bowl of chips, as they are brilliant.

Rating:
10/10 for the Full English Breakfast
7/10 for drinks and pubness

Expensive - 20 quid for lunch for one sandwich, one salad, one bowl of chips and two diet cokes.

A great bar, a good crowd and great beer with quick service, what more could you want?! Haven't eatern there but the menu looks good and if the drinks service is replicated it should be fine.
