| The Premier Inn next door can be popular with Clubbers on a weekend but few use this bog standard Brewers Fayre. No nearby pubs in a desert of office blocks and ring roads. Its OK for a quick drink but I would get a taxi and go somewhere better. bee578 - 18 Feb 2009 14:59 |
| A Brewers Fayre pub and it does it's owners no credit whatsoever. The local ale (Braines) OK but not to my taste and the food is poor - tastless and badly prepared. My 'well done' steak was bloody in the middle and my wife's pasta was welded to the plate it was microwaved on. At the next table a customer was complaining about the lack of meat in his cottage pie. The Brewers Fayre website has a banner that reads 'Can't be bothered to cook?'. Looks like they followed their own advice. This place does no favours to the Travel Inn next door.
