| While it does have "real ale", it's a choice of Robinson's, Robinson's or Robinson's. And it's not really a beer-drinkers' pub. The landlord has notions of "fine dining", and rather looks down on those who'd prefer to sit at the bar with a pint and a packet of crisps. Some nights, your conversation will be drowned out by the rather lugubrious pianist. The food is adequate, if a little over-priced for what it is. Better to go to the Dysart, a couple of miles away in Bunbury, which is practically a permanent beer festival and doesn't despise "mere" beer-drinkers the same way (and does much better food for about the same money).
