| was in this pub and enjoyed a few pints of Holsten pils, the purpose of my visit was to visit a sauna in the vicinity however to my disgust the condom machine was out of order, so I had to stay for longer than I anticipated. The bar chap who was rather camp but also very friendly was constantly nipping off out the back, wouldn't like to guess what he was up to, meanwhile the visit took a positive turn when alan carr stephen gately and a freddy mercury lookalike turned up for a game of bar billiards. | An excellent, well run and friendly local pub. The beer is always in good condition and, being a family concern, there is always a friendly welcome. | This place has really turned around in the last year with the coming of the new tenants. It is a family run pub with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Its a shepherd neame pub selling best, seasonal, bishops finger, spitfire and master brew. Theres a pool table, two darts boards, a toads table and live bands every saturday night.
