| We stopped by on Sun 29 Jun 08 on the way from Plymouth to Salisbury. We had tried other places but they were all shut as it was after 2pm. Although they were not serving, the landlady(?)/chef cooked us up an absolutely beautiful Sunday dinner. We were made VERY welcome as was our dog. The food including the dessert was of the standard yo may expect in an expensive hotel but without the price tag. There was a good selection of wines for under a tenner and the beers looked tempting too. Unfortunately I couldn't try them as I was driving!
