well what to say bobbed into this midweek to find 4 school kids one still had shirt and tie (part hidden under his coat)
the pub itself is quite large however it needs a really good clean loads of advertising for sports but after seeing the children in there drinking beer i had a quick half and left needless to say i will never return

I had the mis fortune to spend a night here recently.Although i did not expect a palace for the price of 40(5 taken off as there was no breakfast),there website site quotes 30 A NIGHT with breakfast. The room we had was at the top of 2 flights of stairs with no lighting. The room itself neede a good clean, the towels were filthy, there was a disgusting lump of old soap on the sink. When i opened the wardrobe there were several pairs of dirty socks on the shelf!
The tv and kettle did not work but that was ok as we had the pleasure of listening to the tv in the next room from 5 in the the morning at full blast.
The shower was also broken and there was no hot water. We did have the LUXURY of clean bedding unlike 2 of our friends who had stained sheets and on complaining was given clean bedding by a very unhelpful member of staff.
We ended up leaving at 7 in the mornig very tired and cold due to the fact that we could not close the window as it painted and wedged open!
I have never stayed anywhere as disgusting as this and have now renamed it THE PIT from HELL.
