| This place is very close to the ultimate dream for beer lovers. It is a brewery pub - oh joy! The brewing room is on the right as you enter the 17th century building and the huge bar room is opposite on the left. They brew all types and flavours - chewy dark beer (like a good firm English beer but slightly chilled with a stoutish flavour), light (blonde) beers, Stoombier (Steam Beer), Witbier and Mayflower Tripel. They also make their own bread (Pelgrim Bread) which wraps around all sorts of lovelies for lunch - which I enjoyed yesterday plumbpudding - 11 May 2005 22:00 |
