Just heard the pub is closing through lack of users.

Shame.
Seen some good local bands and had some great evenings chatting with the staff over a beer.

Not quite sure what Belvedere "lovethepubs" went into but it can't be the same one. Decor is above average for the area and the bber is kept very well, nice atmosphere and always greeted with a smile. Years ago this was a place to avoid now i take my kids and sit in the garden. Well run and if your feeling peckish I'd recommend a burger......

having read the last persons comments on the hotel i find it to be a case of sour grapes.I have only returned to using the pub again since the new owners have taken over ,it is now family friendly with a nice vibe and as far as im concerned ,on the up. Try it and i know you will get a warm welcome and be pleasantly surprised

Ever since the latest people took over this pub, it has gone totally downhill. I and many others were regular visitors to this pub for many years, but were swiflty barred by the new owners. Why? No reason whatsoever. I have spoken to many of the other regulars and the same has happened to them. The new bloke just didn't like us and gave no reason for the ban (there was one). Just because our faces did not fit. To put it midly he is a rude racist pig. I would avoid this pub at all costs. Only his new regulars (his fellow moped riders) seem to be welcome. The previous owners had really got it up and running well. This man has totally ruined it.
Do not set foot in this pub unless you want the man to totally humiliate you and bar you for no reason whatsoever!
