| Your first impression when you walk into this bar will probably be it's a local pub for local people and i suppose it is. However, don't let this put you off. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and served in a curteous manner. You will be surrounded by locals and some may give you an up and down glance when you walk in, but this is only because they take pride in their pub and like to know that whoever comes in only wants a few drinks and a good laugh in a relaxed atmoshphere. The landlady lady is top notch and has surrounded herself in staff that are more than capable. One member of her team stands out. I wont mention names but, I hope when you go she is behind the bar because it makes your night all the better. Food is served during the day and is your basic pub grub. As with most pubs be prepared to watch the live football and horse racing. However, come the weekend it's karaoke and live entertainment. It's not always busy but, it's always entertaining.
