| Busy pub with some character in centre of the town. Best during the day when a seat looking over the main street can be taken, and a selection taken from the juke box. Beer average to say the least (john smiths smooth, camerons, tetley) and the food is rough and best avoided if possible. Friendly and youthful bar staff though pub is best avoided on weekends when they have bouncers on the door and the crowd is more youth club in appearance. darloexile - 8 Apr 2005 14:43 |
