Located near the harbour, it is a very basic booser, It has bare wooden floorboards over most of the lounge with a small raised area in one corner. The bar is at the back of the lounge and the food is reasonably priced. Seating is also basic and not built for comfort. It was rather noisy on Saturday night with a huge TV blasting away. I ate Chilli Con Carni which had an odd flavour and far from the best I have eaten.

Football on big screen tv, old school place, decent cider on tap.

I'm no fan of football, but if I'm in the mood to join in, shout and drink, then this is the place. Not to mention the excellent live music for afters!

Out for the day on Saturday and ended up in Sunny Swanage. Ended up here and on the spur of the moment happened to ask if they did accommodation and would allow a friendly dog to stay too.

Accommodation was basic, but very reasonably priced and perfectly functionable. Breakfast was excellent. Pub was very friendly, nice drop of ringwood, good band on too.

Recommended. We will return.

An excellent pub which does a fine drop of Ringwood. Great for live music and watching sport. Glad to see that it puts rugby before football.
