| I had the misfortune to order a veggie burger here recently. It consisted of a frozen burger slapped in a 'plastic' bread bun - dry, dull and totally lacking in any care. | Nice pub and thankfully met a really nice bartender after first being served by what I can only call a dyed blonde hair chav cow who rather bark a price than tell you what wines were being served. The food was ok the chili fries were spicy to say the least. I don't really think I'd go back unless I was in the area (like down the road). | Nice 'pit-stop' enroute to Hastings. Charming 'proper' pub with bonus kids play area.(Perfect for my tribe!) Five pumps,only 3 on when i visited tho'...Sussex,Summer Lightning and Pedigree.
