Impossible to get served on a Saturday lunchtime, only two staff serving and that JDW phenomenon where people queue in a line to get served. Gave up after 5mins and went across the road.

Nicely laid out with the usual JDW helpful service. Called in during the morning on our way to Wells, there were a couple of families and some regulars. Not an extensive range of ales but nevertheless a good selection

I was informed by two Admiral BDM's this week that JDW have taken the lease !! If so it's the kiss of death for most of the towns pubs with the exception of the Organ.

I popped in here for lunch with a friend the other day. A nice exterior - could use a lick of paint here and there, but grand looking neverthless on the main Warminster strip!
Quite a large interior. The TV's blasting out music were a distraction however. The food was well priced and good. The ale was fine - well kept. Despite a ramshackled feel, the place was okay. Service was friendly and prompt - the young brunette lady serving behind the bar was my highlight. Fancy popping back because of that fact. Give her a pay rise.
