| Please note the below comment was actually for the Angel Pub, not this one. Here is my verdict of the rifle volunteer. Decent pint of IPA and a friendly bunch in the pub. Good service and quick We sat outside with our drinks as it was a cracking day. Like all the pubs we visited it was of a standard and style that made pubs in this country great. | Was in here yesterday after the charity match at Ware FC. Place was packed,Spurs in one bar the other lot in the other.Good atmosphere with a lot of families in the garden.The IPA was top drawer and the service very quick considering how busy it was. | Big place up the hill from the town, so not a place for town centre crowd. I was slightly worried as it seemed to be a Spurs place but otherwise acceptable. Sarah behind the bar served a very tasty 1799 Porter, otherwise it was the usual corporate rubbish of Green King IPA for beer drinkers.
