A real ale drinkers pub, in the High street, very much a beer and conversation establishment, the Spingo Middle was in top form, plus 3 other beers. Its about a fast 10 min walk from Penryn station on the Falmouth branch. Well recommended.

A pleasant Pub with a warm welcome. well kept beers including the inevitable but always welcome Skinners and Blue Anchor Spingo Middle for those who do not fancy the trip to Helston.

A good ale house with great beers served by a friendly landlord. We called in August and enjoyed the beer and the Grandmas Weapons Grade Ginger Beer at 5.5% was a killer. Will call again next time I am down in Cornwall.

Rob Brinkhof (Landlord) runs a very clean and tidy pub. The lines are cleaned more often than most people use a toothbrush. You are always guaranteed an excellent pint of extra special real ales and lagers (especially the Brinkhoff (no relation)) e-number and additive free lager from Germany (no hangovers here from unmentionables). He will not tolerate bad behaviour and single/married or otherwise unattached females can relax assured in the knowledge that they can enjoy quiet drink without let or hinderance. I have been a regular here for the past four years, and have even joined the theatre company, famed for their annual panto in pub productions. Highly recommeded for one and all. Come on in and see for yourselves.

Not the fanciest place in town but very comfortable and friendly. Good beer, too! I was visiting a friend who lives in Penryn and this is his favorite pub there.
