Jenny, they're not dissaproving looks but pervy looks;-) I went a few months ago with a white female (i'm asian) and another friend for a pre drink before going fpr a curry, we had some starters as we were peckish and had a wait and they were disguting, avoid the food!

If you are female and white it's a place to avoid unless you are with a group of asian men but be prepared for the odd disapproving look.

Well, I don't think there's anything wrong with this pub at all, apart from the lack of real ale. It's certainly the gaudiest pub I've ever been in, but I didn't notice any troublemakers,. Yes, the pool room was full of exciteable young men, but none of them seemed to be drunk or aggressive. I'd come back again if I happened to be in the area. There don't seem to be many places in Southall that do real ale, so even that isn't a huge strike against it.

Walked into 'the glassy junction' and for some reason i was not feeling thirsty anymore. Avoid at all costs.
