Not only closed, but gutted - the place is a shell. No idea whether it's going to re-open, but the estate agent's sign is residential. With any luck this miserable excuse for a boozer has gone for good. PumpChump - 10 Dec 2010 15:46 |
This place is constantly closed and perhaps should be permanent . mr.toes.5_ - 5 Jun 2010 13:53 |
This pub has Sky Sports and plasma screens dotted about and there is a pool table at the back past the long bar serving up standard draught. I popped into here late on Monday afternoon to discover a band playing the sort of songs you would expect at a wedding disco. I wondered why on earth a band would be playing at this time and then it dawned upon me, all of the locals must pick up there dole money on a Monday. This place is a cesspit of feckless wasters that thieve and cheat their way through life leaving nothing but misery and more feckless wasters behind them. Whilst I was making my escape I was approached by an old crone making her way to the bar. She obviously lost her teeth many years ago, but she still managed to tell me how great the band were whilst tacking a swig of her Smirnoff Ice and lighting her cigarette at the same time. I quickened my pace and made the exit and when I glanced back to make sure I hadnt been followed I spotted the burnt out remains of an old Litten Tree sign up above the door and then all became clear. If I ever happen to have my brain removed and I survive I will be a regular customer in this septic pit. Strongers - 15 Jul 2009 13:56 |
