I've lived in the area for seven years and seen a lot of changes on the pub front in this time. You have to accept that the whole area is not really for real ale drinkers. Even the ones that serve it in Colindale I give a wide birth as they don't sell enough.

By far the best pub on this stretch of the Edgware road by a country mile in my eyes (not that there's much competition). The food is the best in the area and you can have an extremely tasty gut busting meal for around 8 quid. Way better than the crap you get in Wetherspoons.

It has a nice south facing large beer garden, which if you ignore the main road, is a rarity in the area.

It appears to be run by Eastern Europeans which, has turned out to be a god send if you see the degenerates that frequent the local 'Irish' bars. Chilled out and welcoming and, unlike many pubs in the area, you don't have to drink there five days a week to feel welcome.

"Nul points."

Had no bitter on pump, only in bottles. What kind of pub is that? Walked out.

Well the lansdowne. Easily the most chilled pub in the wider area. Even when its busy. No agro, a nice place to go.

one of the best on the 'strip', but that doesn't say much. bar staff gormless, locals a step up from the other joints....
