| I tend to visit the Albert on a Saturday evening after an afternoon pre load watching the Big Noses. It has a great juke box, a good mix of stuff. Occasionally a live band playing and an interesting clientele. In particular a rotund elderly lass who has a voice like Chewbacca crossed with Sean Dyche. BobCock - 30 Nov 2016 11:03 |
| This pub is now well worth a visit, after a period in the doldrums after the long-time landlord retired a few years back. Interior decor is a bit spartan but there are usually two or three well-kept real ales available and it certainly merits a stop on a Hitchin crawl now that the Nightingale is no more.
