| We were only in England for three and a half years, from early '96 to late '99, but Doug was by far the best beerman I have ever known. I loved the William Websters IPA until they quit making it. I always credited the brewery with making a great ale, but when he replaced it with Green King, it was as elegant a draught as the William Websters had been. I never tasted a better cared for beer in my life. I now live in Hawaii where the weather is beautiful, but you can't get a decent beer to save your a#@!... Oh how I miss England. (Oh, the food was always delicious, but I am not considered to be a discriminating eater.
