Great pub, particularly on lively Saturday nights when they have bands on. Good beer, good atmosphere and a good knees-up - what more could you wish for!

This is an attractive-looking pub both outside and in, and is the main local outlet for Adnams beers. But it's one of the least friendly pubs I've visited in a long time, and is a bit grubby and uncared for. (The Gents' loos were very smelly.) This place could be a gold mine, but no one seems to care. I didn't stay long.

The beer has just gone up by 15p per pint. This does include Bitter. The pub is dead and is in need of a heart transplant.

I live in Harleston, and have to say that since the new managers took over about 4 months ago, the place has rapidly gone down hill. The food is still good and that is down to Maggie and Kelly, together with the rest of the bar staff. The management leave a lot to be desired (that is if they are ever there!!!). Patio outside still not covered in any way shape or form so if you want a cigarette you are likely to get a drowning. I will rate this pub 7 on its good points, but if it was just to do woth the management, it would receive 3 or 4!!!!!!!

This is a marvellous little boozer. Nice landlord and lady and very friendly bar staff. Normally full of 18-25's on a friday or Saturday night, but a friendly custom at all others times. Food serves daily between 12 and 230. Pretty good and fairly priced. All food from local establishments.
